Pastor Robert Wall
It is a great delight to recommend Anson and Allison Van de Kemp for your consideration to support for missionary service. Both Anson and Allison have completed their Bible training at FaithWay Baptist College in Ontario, Canada where their passion for the mission field matured and became more focused. Bro. Van de Kemp also completed his Master’s degree from Crown College in Powell, TN. For the past few years Bro. Van de Kemp has been working on our church staff and teaching in FaithWay Baptist College to gain the necessary experience for effective service for our Lord Jesus Christ. They have recently taken a short-term mission’s trip to Malta to confirm God’s direction and leading for their lives. You will not regret allowing them to come and present their burden for the spiritually dark mission field of Malta. Bro. Van de Kemp is a fine preacher, his wife is a wonderful musician and together they will be a blessing to your church. I believe you will find this fine young couple worthy of your confidence, prayer, and consideration for financial support. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.

I’m delighted when young people head to the mission field. You and I both receive information on an almost daily basis about those who would wish for us to partner with them in getting the Gospel to the world.
It is unusual however, when such a quality couple as Anson and Allison Van de Kemp are sent of the Lord to such a needy place as Malta.
Malta is a Gospel starved nation, and yet it is open to missionaries. Ninety-eight per cent of the country are Roman Catholic. It is the most practicing Catholic nation in the world. I don’t know about you, but I have found that former Catholics make wonderful Baptists once they get saved.
The Van de Kemps are first-rate, top notch, tremendous Christians. Brother Anson could secure a comfortable position in a large church immediately should he choose to do so. He and his wife are talented, articulate, godly, sound, sincere Christians. Any of us would love to have them as part of our team. What a blessing that they are leaving family and friends to go to this vital mission field.
Many of you know that the Van de Kemps have been through difficult days. I hope that many who read this letter will join me in committing to support them (we are going to support them at $100 a month) without delay. You may not be able to have the Van de Kemps to your church, but I hope you will join with me in getting their support together as rapidly as we can.
Thanks for considering this request. God bless you. Dr. Don Sisk
It has been my privilege to have known Anson and Allison Van de Kemp since the time
they were young children. I have not only had the privilege of watching them grow into
adulthood, but I have had the privilege of seeing their spiritual growth through the years.
I was thrilled when Brother Van de Kemp began to talk to me about the country of Malta.
To be honest, I did not know where it was; however, after the conversation with him I
was as thrilled as he was about the possibility of evangelizing and church planting in that
great country.
Both Allison and Anson are well prepared for the mission field. They have a great
Christian heritage. They have both been trained well in a good Bible college and have
had the privilege of growing up and ministering in a good local church.
Anson has worked on staff at FaithWay Baptist Church and has done an outstanding
job. Allison is very talented. I believe they have a heart for God and for lost souls. Any
church that has them will be blessed by their presence and will certainly have great
rewards if you partner with them in this ministry.
If I can answer any questions for you, please do not hesitate to call me Dr. Charles Keen
We send you Christian greetings in Jesus’ name. The purpose of this letter is to recommend to you two of the finest young missionaries I know of at present, Anson and Allison Van de Kemp.
These young parents have fine educations, good doctrinal position, valuable minis- try experience and the call of God upon their lives for Malta, one of the more needy places in the world for the Gospel.
It is a great encouragement to men like me when I see God calling fine couples like this one to go into all the world and preach the gospel. I trust you can be an encouragement to them by prayer and financial support in their world vision.
